It is essentially composed of meadows on fertile soils, and it includes four ponds situated to the south of the strong house, aligned on an east–west axis that follows the gentle slope of the plot. To the north, three imposing barns, with ashlar-faced facades and roofs in traditional flat tiles, machine-made tiles, or slates, mark the entrance to the property. The dwelling itself consists of two buildings arranged at right angles and abutting a central keep, square in plan, mentioned as early as 1443.
